ORDERING YOUR PRESCRIPTION

1. Your prescription may be telephoned to the practice.

2. Order at reception. emis access

4. By post (a stamped self addressed envelope must be enclosed)

Prescriptions may be collected personally at reception after 4pm daily or sent to the Pharmacy of your choice. Please tell us the name of your preferred pharmacy when you order your prescription.

Please remember our telephone lines are very busy. To facilitate taking appointments in the mornings we would request that repeat prescriptions are ordered after 11:30am.


REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

When ordering your repeat prescriptions:

1. Please give 48 hours notice for your repeat prescription.

2. Please give the name of your drug and the strength of it.

3. DO NOT ORDER YOUR PRESCRIPTION MORE THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE IT IS DUE.


ACUTE PRESCRIPTIONS

redpills1.jpgThe doctor will decide if a minor ailment requires a prescription. In some cases advice may be given or you may be asked to attend surgery. All acute prescriptions ordered before 11am can be collected at 3pm on the same day and any acute prescriptions ordered after 11am will be ready at 5:30pm on the same day.
